Security and Return of Items Clause:
- Return of Equipment:
Any equipment or items provided by IM Rentals for rental purposes must be returned in the same condition as when they were issued. The equipment shall be returned by the agreed date and time. Failure to return the equipment within the stipulated period will incur additional charges as per the rental agreement. - Liability for Damages or Loss:
The accredited supplier or freelancer agrees to be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment during the rental period. The full replacement cost will be assessed and must be settled within seven (7) days upon notification. - Security Deposit:
IM Rentals may require a security deposit for the rented equipment. Which will be refunded once the rented equipment is returned and verified to be in good working condition. In the event of damage, loss, or theft of the equipment, the safety deposit may be used to cover repair or replacement costs. If the costs exceed the deposit, the renter will be responsible for the remaining balance. - Security Protocols:
Accredited individuals and companies shall comply with all security protocols set by IM Rentals, including but not limited to equipment check-out/check-in procedures, monitoring, and security access requirements during the rental period - Data Privacy Compliance
The parties agree to comply with the provisions of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations. Both parties shall ensure the protection, confidentiality, and proper handling of personal data in accordance with the law, and shall promptly notify the other party in case of any data breach or unauthorized access.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- One (1) rental day is equivalent to 16 hours only. This starts from pickup time to the time equipment is returned – overtime fees apply for both equipment and staff.
- Transportation and proper meals/beverages for the production team are to be provided by the client unless agreed otherwise.
- Client is liable for any damage, accidents, or loss unless caused by IM rentals crew/caretaker/s.
- All files/media/cards shall be deleted and reformatted upon return of equipment; client is solely responsible for copying/backing up files from rented equipment, unless agreed otherwise.
- Cancellation fee of 30% shall be billed to client for rentals cancelled 12 hours from agreed pick up time and 50% cancellation fee shall be billed to client for rentals canceled 6 hours from agreed pick up time.
- Upon signing this contract, the agreed upon down payment shall be collected by Independent Minds Productions. Full payment is collected on the rental day, unless agreed otherwise.
- Late fees/penalties apply for delayed payments.
- Please note that check payments should be made payable to INDEPENDENT MINDS PRODUCTIONS.
- Quotes are applicable for a period of Thirty (30) days.
